UMC Clergy and Sexual Misconduct

I created this blog for all those who are victims of clergy abuse. These victims never have a voice because most times it is too late before they are aware that they are being abused. Clergy are people that you trust and turn to in time of need. But some clergy abuse their power and still have their orders and can go on to abuse others. STOP CLERGY ABUSE NOW!!

Rev Dr James McCray Jr:

This is a UMC clergy.  Charges brought against him for being in an emotional relationship with a married woman. He was married at the time and a Senior Pastor of Jones Memorial UMC.  He was cleared of this.  When his name was cleared in July 2007, he was still married, still involved with the married woman, and also started a relationship with his secretary. Do you think this man should still be a Reverend? Three women at the same time while married? Now this man was allowed to retire after the General Conference found this out.  Is that fair?

Welcome to Everyone

Welcome to our blog on a topic close to our hearts.  We ignore the many women who have been abused by UMC clergy.  You might say that all clergy abuse and you are correct, but my interest is in the United Methodist Clergy and the abuse they inflict not only on members of their congregation but women outside of their parish.  These men should be exposed just like all the priests guilty of sexual abuse.  Abuse is damaging no matter what your age.  Some can overcome this type of abuse but some have taken their lives, not able to live with themselves. Clergy are narcissistic by nature.  They have a God complex.  They are angels to some and the women they abuse know what demons they really are.  The victims end up feeling all the guilt as if they did something wrong because victims usually have a conscience.  The Clergy however deny that any abuse occurred and usually drive their victims to insanity.  Most victims are so ashamed that they do not come forward.  Those who do have to experience so much more pain through the process that most times, they'd rather die than go on.
Do not despair.  If you are a victim or know of one, you are not alone. Any kind of abuse victim is free to visit this site. Please feel free to email me and let me know what you would like to see on this site.  Thank you for visiting and remember, God loves you always.

About Me

Sexual Misconduct by UMC Clergy
We did not believe in clergy abuse until it happened to someone we know. It is the worse possible trauma that can happen to the human heart. She started to feel ashamed to face God. Nothing is worse than being ashamed to face God. This site is dedicated to this person and all victims of clergy abuse
